Again, I don’t disagree with your assessment of Koran’s killing mandate, what I would say is that the Bible is just as explicit in this. Check out the Old Testament. The difference is that Christians are better behaved than Islamists, and they are genuinely embarrassed by the killing mandates in the Bible. Over the years, Christians have come up with all sorts of funny justification and rationalization to play down these embarrassing aspects of the Bible (to the extent of even inventing a new discipline call Apologetics). Muslims on the other hand, continue to display the unpleasant tendency of having its numbers (albeit a small one) led into maiming and killing in the name of Koran.

This is the reason why in an earlier post, I exhorted Menj to use his considerable talents to try and root out the extremists in Muslims’ midst, instead of wasting time waging a “jihad” to correct public misconception of Islam.
