Missionary propaganda material about Islam from NZ

Filed under: Religion & Philosophy — menj @ 8:05 pm

One of things I do for the kicks [as well as collating material] which I conduct in my spare time is to visit Christian missionary websites promising “free material” about Islam, fill in the form using a pseudonym, make it sound convincing as though I was going to proselytise Christianity to Muslims in Malaysia [as if!], then sit back and enjoy while they send their free propaganda material at their own expense in two or three weeks’ time. The latest victim was a “Mr. C. Le Heux” from New Zealand who “kindly” sent his collection of free tracts and a well-binded booklet containing all sorts of nasty and distorted information about Islam.

Yet another collection of missionary propaganda to be added to my burgeoning collation of material.

Some Christian missionary tracts from Jack T Chick and the pseudonymous “Abdullah Al Araby”, common names on the Internet.

This booklet is new, I have never seen this distributed around before. Some of the polemics contained within it are new too but they are nothing which cannot be refuted.

A video which summarises the essence of Xtianity in five minutes. Literally. This speech is by Sheikh Khalid Yassin, an excellent orator if I may say so myself.

Holding the fort

As I was talking about Penang with an old friend and former classmate about several subject matters and Penang society in particular, he made a remark about one particular issue which summarily sums it all up, “we are holding the fort!” I certainly agree with the statement.

One day I will join him to “hold the fort” as well, when I return to Penang with a wife and kids in tow.

Christianity is a religion of HATE and DESTRUCTION

Filed under: Religion & Philosophy — menj @ 11:02 am

You think Christians are a peace-loving, kind, tolerant and loving people? Think again.

A Baptist pastor who lost a son in Iraq objects to the placement of special sinks that would aid Muslims at the Indianapolis airport in preparing for prayer because he opposes “the fraternization with our open enemies during a time of war,” according to a statement from his church.

The Rev. Jerry Hillenburg, pastor at Hope Baptist Church on the city’s Far Westside, is calling on Mayor Bart Peterson to halt the installation of the floor-level sinks at the Indianapolis International Airport.

Bush’s relations with the Christian Right

Filed under: Religion & Philosophy, World — menj @ 2:35 pm

If it wasn’t obvious to you before, it certainly is now. Its not that we do not know that the Great Satan State is a Christian State before. But this is certainly damning evidence.
