Al-Jazeera International interviews DSAI
Compared to the joker who “impressed” us all [not!] with his [lack of] “powderful England”, this man is certainly miles ahead although I wouldn’t say that it is perfect.

Seriously. When I listened to that clip on YouTube of that interview between him and Al-Jazeera, once it was over I was totally speechless at the end of it. Not because he explained his side of the story well, but because he totally made a fool of himself with his broken English and lack of understanding regarding the situation on the ground. He even contradicted himself in several parts of the interview. In the end, I do not know who was more embarassed: the journalist conducting the interview with him or yours truly for having a moron like this as Information Minister.
And I still wonder what was the criteria that got him into the Cabinet in the first place, or even standing for a seat in Parliament.
Unfortunately due to personal matters concerning the affairs of the heart (involving her of course and the impending engagement), I will not be anywhere in the Klang Valley on the 10th November. I however will wish that everything goes well and that the gathering and march from Dataran Merdeka to Istana Negara will go on well and peacefully as the organisers have originally planned.
In the state of our current “demokrasi terpimpin” (i.e., a democracy that is not a democracy), nothing is certain but certainly its not too much to ask for. Of course it depends largely on whether the anjing-anjing kerajaan will listen to the orders of the SIL and his lembik FIL (i.e., Encik Jellyfish), or will they step aside and allow the rakyat to reclaim their democratic rights under Article 10 of the Federal Constitution?
As I was talking about Penang with an old friend and former classmate about several subject matters and Penang society in particular, he made a remark about one particular issue which summarily sums it all up, “we are holding the fort!” I certainly agree with the statement.
One day I will join him to “hold the fort” as well, when I return to Penang with a wife and kids in tow.
There goes the thousands of Ringgit into space. Mamu echoes my views, I do not need to repeat them again. As far as I know, only those who are have three years training and experience will be qualified to be an astronaut. However it seems that Bolehnauts are an exception to this convention.
