Its time to charge in Euros

Filed under: Business & Economy — menj @ 11:54 am

This news came with mixed feelings for me. While I am gleeful that this Great Satan State might finally fall to its knees and perhaps at the very least slow its rampage across the globe, at the same time the irony is that since I am earning in USD, this might just as well affect my income. Perhaps the only solution for me would be to turn to the stronger Euro or UK Pounds as a medium of exchange over the Internet for my business dealings.

Sinking Currency, Sinking Country

The euro, worth 83 cents in the early George W. Bush years, is at $1.45.

The British pound is back up over $2, the highest level since the Carter era. The Canadian dollar, which used to be worth 65 cents, is worth more than the U.S. dollar for the first time in half a century.

Oil is over $90 a barrel. Gold, down to $260 an ounce not so long ago, has hit $800.

Have gold, silver, oil, the euro, the pound and the Canadian dollar all suddenly soared in value in just a few years?

Nope. The dollar has plummeted in value, more so in Bush’s term than during any comparable period of U.S. history. Indeed, Bush is presiding over a worldwide abandonment of the American dollar.

But of course, the lesson to be learnt from this is that no one is immune from economic collapse, not even the United States.

Essay writing services

Want to look for quality term papers where you can hire people to do, since you don’t have the time to compose it? Education as one is certain to know is a key or should we say, the stepping stone, to a bright and guaranteed future. Hence there is no doubt that one would go through all means necessary in order to achieve that, including getting custom writing. Although such services have a problem ethically, especially when you are a student and not supposed to get help for submission of your custom term papers, I feel that these kind of services are good for those who are preoccupied with other things and would like to get help in order for someone to check and improve the quality of their writing.

Tagging items with bar codes

Filed under: Business & Economy — menj @ 3:19 am

Those who are involved in retail trading and are doing business activities such as keeping track of their inventory, cost price and other details would know that bar coding is the most effective way to ensure that their products are managed in an efficient and properly manner. If you have a retail business which has an inventory large enough that makes it difficult for you to keep track of, you should invest in getting a bar coding system. After all, Bar Code Verification is the best way to ensure that you do not lose money if your goods are lost or stolen. It is already the de facto standard in the industry and surely your business should not be left out of it?
