While I have no sympathy for a brutal tyrant who was as callous in murdering Sunnis (i.e., the Halabja massacre of 1987..let’s not forget that the Kurds are Sunnis, despite the dichotomy that the Western media tries to give) just as he was in murdering Shi’ites, one must not forget that this man was once a darling of the Western superpowers, especially the United States, which was arming both Saddam and the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq War. This execution was designed to serve American interests, and only American interests alone. The irony of course is what they have done to replace Saddam’s regime? A government that is pro-Iran instead.
I hope the filthy Americans are proud of themselves for creating a Shi’ite bastion of Iraq, Iran and (soon to be) Lebanon.

I guess it was not a mistake to blow that RM1,900.00 on a HSDPA unit (Celcom) and a monthly subscription of RM120.00 after all for my dad’s office. I am surfing with it right now and with the recent Internet slowdown, my dad’s internet connection escaped virtually unscathed. Maybe I should get myself one of those units after all. You know, as a backup.
It is tiring and troublesome if I can’t get connected to the Internet. Moreso especially since I am earning through blogging. So it is extremely critical that I do have something to fall back upon should a disaster shake up that Streamyx connection at home.
