Denouncing terrorism

Filed under: Loudspeakers — menj @ 6:30 pm

No Muslim worthy of that name will ever condone or support the indiscriminate attacks on innocent civillians. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi had issued a statement in the past denouncing terrorism. His is not the first statement made by a prominent Muslim, nor will it be the last. Yet you will still find Islamophobes complaining about the so-called “lack” of official statements from the Muslim World condemning terrorism *sigh* These morons (for a lack of a better word describing them) should go and get a life. Don’t blame anyone else but yourselves if you are too lazy to search for the copious amount of information on the issue available on the World Wide Web.

Creed in aqeedah

By Fakhr Addin Ibn Asakir (620 H)

Ibn Asakir said: [Know, may Allah guide us and you, that it is obligatory upon every accountable person to know that Allah is the only God in his dominion.

He created the entire world, the upper and the lower, the Throne and the Chair, the heavens and earth, and everything in them and between them.

All the creation is subjugated by His Power. No speck moves except by His will.

He has no manger for the creation with Him, and has no partner in His Dominion.

He is Alive and Self-subsistent. He is not seized somnolence or sleep.

He is the One who knows the unforeseen and the evidenced by His creation.

Nothing on earth or in heaven is hidden from Him. He knows what is on land and in sea. Not a leaf does fall but He knows about it. There is no grain in the darkness of earth, nor anything which is moist or dry but is inscribed in a clear Book. His knowledge encompasses everything. He knows the count of all things.

He does whatever He wills. He has the Power to do whatever He wills.

To Him is the Dominion, and He needs none. To Him belong the Glory and Everlastingness. To Him are the Ruling and the Predestination.

He has the names of Perfection.

No one hinders what He decreed.

No one prevents what He gives.

He does in His dominion whatever He wills. He rules His creation with whatever He wills.

He does not hope for reward and does not fear punishment.

There is no right on Him that is binding, and no one exercises rule over Him.

Every endowment from Him is due to His Generosity and every punishment from Him is just. He is not questioned about what He does, but they are questioned.

He is existent before the creation. He does not have a before or an after. He does not have an above or a below, a right or a left, an in front of or a behind, a whole or a part.

It must not be said: when was He? Or How is He? He is existent without a beginning or a place. He created beings and willed for the times. He is not bound to time and is not designated with place.

His management of one matter does not distract Him from another. Delusions do not apply to Him, and He is not encompassed by the mind. He is not conceivable in the minds.

He is not imagined in the self nor pictured in delusions. He is not grasped with delusions or thoughts. (Nothing is like Him and He is the All-hearing and All-Seeing)]

End of the brief.

Why do I even bother exposing The Kid?

Filed under: Middle East, Politics & Government, Religion & Philosophy — menj @ 3:24 pm

Why do I even bother educating this imbecile? Hey kid, I don’t think you have the balls to discuss something intricate as this, even though you boast that “though I [you] had dozens of scriptures to quote in my [your] mind.” Making claims is one thing, but proving it is quite another issue altogether. I have a track record that proves my side of things, where are yours?

Even funnier is the claim that:

Well, if I could turn into a Christian fundie into a Christian who doesn’t adhere to the scripture within a space of a day, I suppose I’m wasting my time.

Where did I claim that I was referring to you [specifically] when I made that statement? Go back to studying comprehension, kid.

I mean, it isn’t as if anything anyone could say that would change the way Menj thinks, the way Menj reads the Bible - through the prism of his Islamist ideology.

Go back to your STPM papers and stop talking about matters you know naught about, kid. And I’ll bet that my degree in Computing & IT is something that you can never hope to achieve, even if you were to reborn a thousand times.

There is no “Islamist ideology” when reading the Bible. Its not that there are specific Bible classes for Muslims teaching them how to interpret the Bible “according to Islamist ideology”. The kid certainly does not know what he is talking about. Oh, yes, let’s call this Muslim an “Islamist” and implicit him for acts of terror, but at the same time attack his religion and yeah, make snide remarks at his education as well. Oh, yes, we know this tactic very well, kid. See how they don’t practice what they preach? The CHRISTIAN EVANGELIST interpretation of Islam is amusing, most certainly.

Go back to your STPM papers and stop talking about matters you know naught about, kid. And I have no interest in bragging about my level of education, but I’ll bet that my degree in Computing & IT is something that you can never hope to achieve, even if you were to reborn a thousand times. So goodbye, and I have other matters to tend to which is of more importance to the Muslim ummah.

To be six again

Filed under: Loudspeakers — menj @ 3:00 pm

A man asked his wife what she’d like for her birthday. “I’d love to be six again,” she replied.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, got up made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms and then took her off to the local theme park.

What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, every thing there was. Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park.

Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. Right away, they journeyed to a McDonald’s where her loving husband ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, the latest Star Wars epic, a hot dog, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favourite candy, M&M’s. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his precious wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, “Well, dear, what was it like being six again?”

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. “You bloody d****head, I meant my dress size!”
