Couldn’t Have Said It Any Better

Rajan Seri couldn’t help it and have to make this snide comment on the Palestinian’s Right of Return:
There is no established “right of return†in any binding law. I’m a Ceylonese Tamil - yet I have no right of return to Sri Lanka. Pervez Musharraf was borned in Dehli - he has no right of return there. Why should Palestinians have an artificial right?
Rajan need look no further than read the following article on the issue:
As for his rhetorical question demanding to show what international law provides for the Palestinian’s right to return to their homeland (which he claims is an “artificial right”), we present to you a quote from the above article:
Ethnic cleansing, that is expelling inhabitants from their homes, is a war crime. To prevent these once slighted inhabitants from return, no matter what the reason for their exodus, is also a war crime. That is why international law is very clear and specific on this point. It is no accident that article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, passed by the UN on 10 December 1948, stipulates that every person has the right to return to his home. It is also no accident that on the following day, 11 December, the UN passed the famous resolution 194, calling for the return of Palestinian refugees to their homes.
Emphasis is our own. And here’s a quick factsheet to educate our resident Zionist. Now you know why Zionists are racists.
You can get a whole list of ‘em here. So what next, Rajan Seri?
More to come soon as we go along.
The mishandling of the Qur’an copies owned by the inmates of American detention camps is nothing new:
Dozens Have Alleged Koran’s Mishandling
Complaints by inmates in Afghanistan, Iraq and Cuba emerged early. In 2003, the Pentagon set a sensitivity policy after trouble at Guantanamo.By Richard A. Serrano and John Daniszewski

WASHINGTON: Senior Bush administration officials reacted with outrage to a Newsweek report that U.S. interrogators had desecrated the Koran at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, detention facility, and the magazine retracted the story last week. But allegations of disrespectful treatment of Islam’s holy book are far from rare.
Emphasis is my own. My guess is that the officials’ reaction “with outrage” at Newsweek’s report is most probably doctored. After all, if they can doctor up a whole new reason for a war, whats to stop them from doctoring their “outrage” over the maltreatment of the Qur’an?
[5] “Warp speed” is fake science, as opposed to hyperspace travel in the Star Wars movies. See here for details.
[4] Let’s admit it: the Star Trek timeline is downright confusing. Does Kirk come in before or after Picard?
[3] I think a Republic Battle Cruiser can take out Enterprise or Voyager rather easily. Heck, give me an X-Wing anytime!
[2] Who needs a Phaser when you can use a Lightsaber (”….an elegant weapon for a more civilised age”)? So uncivilised!
[1] It certainly wouldn’t cross my mind to see goody-two-shoes Captain “Botak” Picard to turn evil the same way a certain member of the Skywalker family did!
